Focus the review
Filter tasks by pupil, cohort, subject and recorded status to find the work you need to check.
A thoughtful review. A clearer report.
Bring the right people into the reporting process. Review attainment and comments, resolve questions and approve work with a clear record of each decision.
Know what is ready. See what needs attention.
Filter tasks by pupil, cohort, subject and recorded status to find the work you need to check.
Keep the assigned preparer and reviewer visible alongside each subject contribution.
Review attainment, comments, next steps and the supporting evidence in context.
Explain what needs attention so the preparer can revise the contribution and submit it again.
Record approval against the exact revision, with checks on the evidence and reporting context.
Follow earlier revisions and review decisions as the contribution develops.
Useful feedback makes the next revision better
Bring attainment and teacher comments into the same conversation. A specific next step helps turn a reporting comment into something a student can act on.
A considered route to approval
The preparer submits a subject contribution for review.
The reviewer checks its attainment, wording and evidence.
If returned, the preparer responds with a revised submission.
The authorised reviewer approves the exact revision that was checked.
From subject work to family access
Confirm that the subject contribution and its evidence are ready to use.
Bring approved subjects and selected tutor or attendance information into the pupil’s report edition.
Release the completed report through the school’s authorised publication workflow.
Approving a subject contribution keeps it within the school’s reporting process until the later completion and publication steps.
For your team

Submit assigned work and respond to feedback with a revised contribution.
Check the meaning behind the result.
Review attainment, wording and evidence, then approve or return the submitted revision.
Coordinate the reporting process.
Follow responsibilities and current readiness before moving towards complete reports and publication.
Before a report is ready
Clarify returned work, reviewer responsibilities and what happens when evidence changes after submission.
Yes. Reviewers record staff feedback explaining what needs changing. The preparer can revise and submit again, with the earlier decision retained.
Teacher-led policies can allow this when the teacher has assigned review authority. Reviewed cycles require a reviewer who did not contribute to the submitted content.
Complete-report review and authorised publication are separate steps. Subject approval alone does not release a report to students or families.
The system checks for changed evidence and reporting context. When the submitted revision is no longer current, an updated revision is needed before its approval can remain valid.
