The connected platform

What are the three main components?

SIS connects people and school operations, LMS brings teaching and learning together, and Academic Reporting turns prepared academic information into reviewed school reports.

Does the platform support a school with more than one campus?

Multi-campus management keeps the campus context connected to people, courses, schedules and permitted finance work. Available campus configuration and capacity depend on the school’s plan. See Multi-campus management and Pricing.

Can different people have different access?

Yes. Accounts use a role with compatible permissions and a meaningful scope. Campus assignments, teaching relationships and verified child links add the relevant context. See Users, roles & permissions.

School setup & daily work

Where should a new school begin?

Start with the verified school account and essential settings, then connect people, course offerings and assignments before expanding the daily workflows. The Getting started guide gives a practical sequence.

Are school registration and class attendance the same record?

School registration uses the cohort’s daily or AM/PM calendar. Class attendance follows a scheduled teaching session. Reporting chooses the intended basis and checks its completeness. See School registration & report attendance.

Can a school use its own portal address?

Custom-domain setup supports an eligible school subdomain, DNS ownership checks and HTTPS preparation. The custom-domain login can use its configured school logo and welcome text. See Branding & custom domains.

Can forms create a student record?

General forms keep responses. A configured registration form can create a student through its verified registration workflow; course enrolment and finance steps remain separate. See Forms, registration & responses.

Teaching, work & feedback

Can teachers prepare a lesson privately?

Yes. A private teaching plan keeps preparation and reflection alongside the lesson. Changes to published lesson content stay in a working draft until publication. See Lesson planning & delivery.

What is the difference between saving and submitting student work?

Saving a draft keeps the work in preparation. Submission is the assessment’s explicit handover for review. Students should check the resulting status. See Assignments & offline assessments.

When does a student see their feedback?

The marking draft stays with authorised staff. The student sees their own released outcome and feedback through the school’s results-release workflow. See Marking & feedback.

Can classes be in person, online or hybrid?

The class delivery mode connects its room and external meeting link where needed. Eligible learners can use the published joining details, and authorised staff can publish an external recording link after class. See Online & hybrid classes.

Reporting & family access

Can the school define its own grading approach?

Numeric bands and ordered teacher-judgement descriptors are supported through school reporting definitions. Activated versions give a reporting cycle a stable reference. See Grading scales & reporting definitions.

What happens if an issued report needs correcting?

Prepare the correction as a new edition with its reason, review and release steps. The earlier issued content remains retained, with the new publication becoming current. See Report corrections & history.

Can a parent follow several children?

Yes. Each verified child link has its own access dates, information grants and school context. A guardian can switch between the available links. See For parents & guardians.

Can families see unfinished academic work?

Families see the published learning, released feedback and issued documents made available through their permissions. Private teaching preparation, marking drafts and unfinished report work stay in the staff workflow. See Parent & guardian access.

Plans, records & practical questions

Where can we compare the current plans and trial terms?

Use Pricing for the current plan comparison and Billing & plan questions for the detailed account and allowance answers.

How are school files organised and shared?

Private personal and shared libraries organise the working files. Supported school workflows make selected file editions available in the appropriate context. Personal caps sit inside the school’s shared storage pool. See File storage & sharing.

Does every notification arrive as an email?

Supported email choices depend on the event, recipient access, preferences, confirmed address and school allowance. The in-app centre and permitted delivery monitor keep their own context. See Notifications & email.

Where can we ask about a particular school setup?

Use the contact page to describe the school context and the workflows you want to explore. The complete directory can help you find the most relevant feature guide first.
