Libraries with a context
Use the personal, school, campus, programme and course libraries available through your role and assignments.
A place for the file. A clear route to its use.
Keep useful files close to the work they support. Organise private preparation and school libraries, follow the file edition you need and make it available through the appropriate learning or communication workflow.
A working library for the whole school
Use the personal, school, campus, programme and course libraries available through your role and assignments.
Organise folders and search file names, with supported type and date filters and name, date or size sorting.
Keep file versions, published course materials and attached workflow evidence connected to the work that uses them.
Explore course materialsThe file and the places it supports
Inspect a file to return to its available version history and the workflow links you can access. A revised library file can become the next working version while retained evidence and published editions keep their own context.
One resource, used thoughtfully
Upload the resource into a library you can use and manage.
Give it a recognisable name and a useful place in the folder structure.
Choose the appropriate file version for the lesson, message or other supported workflow.
Publish or attach it through that workflow, with access checked in its context.
For your team
Keep preparation within reach.
Organise teaching files and use selected versions in lessons, assessments and published materials.
Keep shared resources useful.
Maintain the libraries and workflow attachments covered by your role and campus access.
Keep capacity understandable.
Review the school storage pool and personal allowances without exposing private filenames through the allowance settings.
Managing the working file
Understand the file you are using, the workflow that shares it and the recovery period available to your team.
Access follows the library’s context and the user’s permissions and assignments. Files are also made available through supported workflows such as a published course material, conversation attachment or issued academic document.
A newer library version is part of the file’s working history. Published course materials and retained workflow evidence keep their selected editions; later course uploads stay private until they are published again.
Trash and unreferenced older file versions have a 30-day recovery period. Published or retained evidence is managed separately, and removing a library copy does not remove a submitted or retained evidence record.
Personal allowances are caps inside the school’s shared storage pool. Authorised administrators can set defaults and member caps. Lowering a cap limits new allocations without deleting the person’s existing files.
