Reading the finance picture

What do the dashboard and reports tell you?

Understand the date range, current balances and campus context before using the figures for follow-up.

Can staff focus on the campuses they manage?

Yes. Finance views follow the user’s permitted campus scope and finance permissions. Figures, student accounts and report sections are limited to the information that access allows.

What does the report’s date range change?

The selected dates filter payment receipts and finance adjustments. Collections are grouped by campus and payment method, with received, applied and overpayment-credit amounts shown separately.

Does the date range also change the aging figures?

Invoice aging is a current snapshot. It groups the outstanding amounts by days overdue as of today, includes the configured grace period and is separate from the collection-date filter.

Can we export the finance report?

Yes. The CSV report includes the selected-period collections and adjustments, together with the current aging snapshot. The page also shows settlement and credit reconciliation checks for the records in scope.
