Keeping the finance record useful
Understand the account context and the actions available to the finance team.
The Finance role uses assigned-campus scope. Views and actions follow the campuses and finance permissions granted to the account.
Payment review, recorded receipts, credit allocations and permitted refund or reversal entries use explicit finance permissions. The original receipt and subsequent adjustments keep their own records.
AcademySystem records received payments and the review of supported payment submissions. Invoice generation, receipt recording and account adjustments describe the school’s financial record; they do not perform automatic bank collection.
Current balances show what remains outstanding on invoices. Period receipts follow the selected payment dates and are net of recorded refunds and corrections where stated; internal credit allocations stay outside the money-received figure.
Academic results and reporting use their own permissions and responsibilities. Finance access provides the financial work assigned to the account and does not by itself grant academic-report access.
