A clearer view, with each measure in context

Different signals.
A more informed conversation.

Keep lesson completion, assessment work and attendance distinct so your team can interpret what each record tells them.

01

Lessons completed

See the lessons a student has explicitly marked complete within the available published learning.

02

Work submitted

Follow submitted assignments and quizzes alongside the number of assigned activities.

03

Results released

Follow recorded result releases separately from submitted work.

Give learners a clear place to return to

A lesson completed.
A next lesson in view.

Students can mark a lesson complete and see its state in the course learning list. That visible sequence helps them find the next item to work through.

  • Keep viewing a lesson separate from marking it complete.
  • Show To do, Complete and Updated lesson states where applicable.
  • Allow active students to undo their own completion when they need to revisit it.

Reading the learning picture

What does completion actually tell you?

Understand lesson completion, module filters and how submitted work appears alongside learning activity.

Does opening a lesson mark it complete?

No. Viewing and completion are separate. The student chooses Mark as complete after working through the lesson.

Can teachers focus on one module?

Yes. The module filter narrows the learning measures. Attendance continues to cover the whole course.

Does lesson completion mean the student has submitted their assignment?

No. Lesson completion, assessment submissions, released results and attendance are separate measures. They support different parts of the learning conversation.

What happens after a course is completed?

Eligible students retain access to the captured published learning and relevant module edition. Their completed-course learning view is read-only.
