Understanding the student view

When is learning, work and feedback available?

See how your own course access, publication dates and submission steps shape the learning experience.

Will I see every lesson as soon as a teacher saves it?

You see the published learning made available to your course and its opening dates. Teachers can prepare private notes and working drafts before making the next edition available.

Does saving an assignment draft submit it?

Saving a draft keeps the work in preparation. Use the assignment’s submission action when you are ready, and check the resulting submission status.

When can I see my mark and feedback?

Your teacher’s private marking draft becomes available through the permitted results-release workflow. The student view shows your own released outcome and the feedback made available to you.

Can I return to submitted work after an assessment closes?

Your own submitted evidence and released feedback can remain available after the assessment closes. Current course content still follows enrolment and availability, and a withdrawn result is removed from the learner view.

Can I see my academic reports and certificates?

Issued reports and school certificates are available through the student reader when the school enables that access and the account has the required permissions. Each student’s self scope keeps the view connected to their own records.
