Select the location whose stock you are changing. A transfer requires Multiple Branches and access to the relevant operation.

Where to go: Open the inventory transfer

1. Check its current state and available actions.
2. Cancel transfer only when that state permits it.
3. For dispatched outstanding goods that physically returned to the source, enter a return reason and use Return outstanding goods to source.
4. Review the quantity and history after the action.

What happens next

The permitted cancellation or in-transit return is recorded.

Troubleshooting

Returning outstanding goods requires confirmation they physically returned. A dispatched transfer should not be treated as an unused draft that can simply disappear.
