Correct or void an external result

Who can use this: Assigned reporting staff with the relevant permissions.

Before you start

Keep the external awarding body’s source evidence and the reason for the change.

Correct or void an external result

  1. Open the external result and inspect its retained revisions.
  2. Create a corrected revision with the accurate result, provenance and evidence, then complete the required verification.
  3. Use the void action with a reason when the result should no longer be available as a valid family record.

What happens next

The result preserves its revision history while family access follows its current verified or void state.

Troubleshooting

Voiding removes ordinary family access but preserves history. Do not replace an external result with an internal prediction or silently alter the original verified entry.
