Who can use this: Teachers and staff with access to the course.
Before you start
Select the correct student and attempt. Students cannot see a marking draft.
Mark an assignment and release feedback
- Open the assignment marking page and review the submitted response, files and instruction revision.
- Enter the score or permitted excused result and feedback. Save marking draft.
- Review the saved result, then select Release saved result. Unsaved edits in the form are not included in that release.
What happens next
The student can see the released result and feedback through the assignment and permitted grades views.
Troubleshooting
Missing work is not automatically scored zero. If you deliberately record a result without a submission, check the student and reason carefully. Save corrections before releasing them.
