Who can use this: Staff administrators with reporting configuration authority in the relevant school or branch.
Before you start
Activate the required workflow, template, subject policies and scales before selecting them for the cycle.
Select cycle definitions and evidence rules
- Open the cycle’s configuration and select the workflow policy and template.
- For each reporting subject, select the subject policy and configure the evidence rules linking the intended courses or prior reporting periods.
- Save each selection with its required reason and read the configuration checks before starting preparation.
What happens next
The cycle has explicit versions and evidence rules for its subjects.
Troubleshooting
Configuration checks validate definitions and evidence rules, not pupil results, approvals or publication readiness. Use the later review and complete-report checks for those stages.
