Before you start
The assignment must be assigned to you, published and open. Check your effective due and closing dates and allowed attempts.
Submit an assignment as a student
- Open My assignments, select the work and choose Start assignment or Start another attempt.
- Read the instructions, enter your response and add the permitted files. Save draft while working; acknowledge updated instructions if prompted.
- Select Submit assignment when ready. Check the submission receipt and the attempt recorded on the page.
What happens next
Your submitted attempt is available for marking. A saved draft or uploaded file alone is not a submission.
Troubleshooting
If submission is unavailable, check the closing time, attempt allowance and file requirements. Ask the teacher for an extension or extra attempt when needed. Keep earlier receipts when discussing an issue.
