Who can use this: Founders, HQ administrators and other accounts with permitted academy-wide administration.
Before you start
Role permissions and data scope work together. Teacher and student branch access follows their domain assignments rather than ordinary staff branch checkboxes.
Restore role defaults or archive an unused role
- Open the exact role.
- For an eligible factory role, use Back to Default only when you intend to restore its supplied name, description, data scope and module access. Read the confirmation before proceeding; assigned users remain in the role.
- Archive an unused non-protected role when permitted.
- Restore an archived role through the supplied control if needed.
What happens next
The supported role default or lifecycle action is applied.
Troubleshooting
Restoring defaults can change access for all role members. Archiving preserves account and invitation history; restoring a role does not restore cancelled invitations.
