Roll students into the next academic year
Who can use this: Authorized academic structure administrators.
Before you start
Set up SIS enrolment before academic placement. Academic placement, course enrolment and fees are separate records.
Roll students into the next academic year
- Create the destination year and cohort first.
- Select the source and destination cohort pair explicitly.
- Select Preview rollover and read the eligibility result for each student.
- Select Create reviewed placements for the reviewed eligible group.
What happens next
Eligible next-year academic placements are created; exclusions are explained.
Troubleshooting
The source group is based on primary placements on its year’s last day. Rollover leaves earlier placements, course enrolments and fees unchanged. Refresh the preview if its underlying records change.
