Create and publish a course module
Who can use this: Teachers and staff with access to the course.
Before you start
Prepare the course activities first. A module organizes existing activities; it does not publish a draft lesson, assignment or quiz for you.
Create and publish a course module
- Open the course Modules tab and create a module with a title and introduction.
- Add headings, external links and available course activities. Review the sequence and save the draft.
- Preview the module, resolve unavailable items, then publish the module when the sequence is ready for students.
What happens next
Eligible students see the published module and can follow its available activities.
Troubleshooting
An activity can appear only once in a module, although it can be reused in another module. Each module allows up to 100 items. Publish an underlying activity before publishing a module that requires it.
