Before you start
The selected subject policy must explicitly permit the outcome or override. These are reasoned decisions, not a way to hide incomplete work.
Use Not assessed or an attainment override
- Inspect the pupil’s evidence and policy on the preparation page.
- Choose the permitted Not assessed outcome or enter the allowed teacher attainment override and its reason.
- Review what the report will show, then save and submit the revision for approval.
What happens next
The revision retains the attributed exception and its justification.
Troubleshooting
A teacher attainment override does not replace the retained calculated percentage with an invented percentage. If the policy does not permit the exception, resolve the evidence or ask the authorized policy owner to review the setup.
