Publish a new lesson edition
Who can use this: Teachers and staff with access to the course.
Before you start
A published lesson can have a separate working draft. Review the impact of requiring students to complete it again.
Publish a new lesson edition
- Open the lesson editor and update its student content.
- Save the draft and preview it. Check file versions, activity links and availability dates.
- Add an edition note if useful. Choose whether students must complete the lesson again, then publish the saved draft.
What happens next
The new edition becomes available under the lesson’s publication rules.
Troubleshooting
Unsaved edits are not part of the published draft. A completed-course archive can retain its earlier edition. Require completion again only when the updated lesson warrants another completion action.
