Who can use this: Staff administrators with student attendance and academic structure management permissions.
Before you start
School registration is daily or AM/PM attendance for a cohort. It is separate from lesson attendance.
Create a school registration calendar
- Open School registration and add a calendar for the academic year and cohort.
- Enter its coverage dates, school timezone, actual weekdays, closure dates and extra school dates. Choose Daily or AM/PM registration and the excused-attendance rule.
- Assign a responsible teacher or leave it staff-managed, record the setup reason and save the calendar.
What happens next
The cohort has an explicit calendar for school registration sessions.

Each cohort has one calendar per academic year. A responsible-teacher assignment grants this cohort’s school registration access only. Check the excused rule before comparing attendance percentages.
