Suspend, reactivate or remove a staff account
Who can use this: Founders, HQ administrators and other accounts with permitted academy-wide administration.
Before you start
Role permissions and data scope work together. Teacher and student branch access follows their domain assignments rather than ordinary staff branch checkboxes.
Suspend, reactivate or remove a staff account
- Review pending invitations and assigned responsibilities.
- If suspending a responsibility owner, choose a replacement with suitable permission.
- Select Suspend account or Reactivate account as appropriate.
- Use permanent removal only for an eligible suspended account after reviewing its irreversible anonymization warning.
What happens next
The permitted account lifecycle action is applied while supported history remains.
Troubleshooting
Reactivation does not reinstate cancelled invitations. Protected leadership accounts and your administrative authority can restrict available actions.
