Before you start
Set up SIS enrolment before academic placement. Academic placement, course enrolment and fees are separate records.
Place a student in a cohort
- Select the academic year, cohort and existing student.
- Set the placement type and inclusive dates.
- Enter the reason or provenance and save.
- Check that the placement fits the student’s SIS campus enrolment.
What happens next
The student has a saved academic placement for the stated period.
Troubleshooting
End an earlier primary placement before another begins. Use Void to correct an entry made in error; its audit history remains. Use Find a selection outside the first 50 results before editing when needed.
