Select the location whose stock you are changing. A transfer requires Multiple Branches and access to the relevant operation.

Where to go: Open an inventory item or its catalogue product

1. Update permitted descriptive details and prices.
2. Save the item.
3. For shared catalogue changes, review the product and the option to update matching branch descriptions.
4. Save product only after checking the affected scope.

What happens next

The chosen item or catalogue details are updated.

Troubleshooting

A shared descriptive change is different from moving stock or changing quantities. Review the scope of the option to update names and other catalogue fields across branches.
