Before you start
Stay aware of the attempt deadline. Only answers successfully saved to the system can be submitted automatically.
Recover when quiz answers are not saving
- Read the saving message and use Retry saving if it is offered. Restore your connection and avoid editing the same attempt in multiple tabs.
- Download a response copy if that recovery option is shown, so you retain the text you entered.
- Check the saved state again and submit before the deadline if possible. Give the teacher the quiz, attempt and error details if recovery fails.
What happens next
Successfully saved answers remain part of the attempt; a response copy helps explain a recovery problem.
Troubleshooting
A downloaded response copy is not a submitted attempt. Offline time does not pause the timer. The teacher may need to grant a new attempt after reviewing the incident; an expired attempt cannot simply be reopened.
