Import subject report drafts from CSV
Who can use this: Assigned reporting staff with the relevant permissions.
Before you start
Use the downloaded template for an assigned subject. Imports save drafts; they do not approve or publish reports.
Import subject report drafts from CSV
- Open the reporting import workflow and download the template for the selected subject and pupils.
- Keep the exact column names and order. Fill one to 25 pupil-subject rows and save a UTF-8 CSV no larger than 256 KiB.
- Preview the file, resolve every validation issue, then apply that exact reviewed file. Open the saved drafts and submit them through the normal review workflow.
What happens next
Validated rows become reporting drafts within your permitted scope.
Troubleshooting
Changing the file after preview requires another preview. Keep the downloaded identifiers and version fields intact. Quote values containing commas or line breaks correctly and double internal quotation marks.
