Before you start
Private planning is for authorized teaching staff and is separate from the content published to students.
Keep private lesson plans and teaching notes
- Open the lesson editor and its private planning area.
- Enter teaching objectives, preparation, teaching notes and reflection. Add private planning files where needed.
- Save the plan. Preview the student lesson separately to confirm its teaching content.
What happens next
Your lesson planning stays in the staff area and is not included in the student lesson.
Troubleshooting
Place student handouts in student content blocks, not in private planning files. Publishing student content does not turn private teaching notes into student or parent content.
