Correct bulk offline marks safely
Who can use this: Teachers and staff with access to the course.
Before you start
Review the course, assessment and students before changing marks. Corrections to existing released results require a reason. Bulk entry releases results to students when the batch succeeds; use individual marking for a private draft.
Correct bulk offline marks safely
- Open the published offline assessment in Gradebook and enter the intended changed results.
- Provide the required correction reason and review every changed score and feedback entry before release.
- Select Release changed offline scores and check the outcome. A successful batch releases the changed results to students immediately. If validation fails, correct the reported problems and review the batch before trying again.
What happens next
All changed results are validated before the successful batch saves and releases them to students.
Troubleshooting
A batch accepts one to 500 changed results. Invalid scores or unresolved individual marking drafts can block it. Do not assume some rows were saved when the batch reports validation errors.
