Set up a custom portal domain

Who can use this: Authorized academy administrators; account owners for subscription actions.

Before you start

You need domain-management permission and control of the subdomain’s DNS records.

Set up a custom portal domain

  1. Enter the subdomain you control and add it.
  2. Copy the exact CNAME and ownership TXT records displayed into your DNS provider in DNS-only mode.
  3. Save both records and select I’ve updated my DNS.
  4. Review Activity until DNS checks and HTTPS setup show Active.

What happens next

A verified and provisioned domain can become the academy portal address.

Troubleshooting

Root domains, wildcards and proxied DNS records are unsupported. Keep both DNS records while using the portal. DNS verified is an intermediate state, not the same as Active.
