Dispatch stock and record partial receipts
Who can use this: Inventory staff with the relevant permissions.
Before you start
Select the location whose stock you are changing. A transfer requires Multiple Branches and access to the relevant operation.
Dispatch stock and record partial receipts
- At the source, dispatch only goods being sent.
- At the destination, enter Received now for quantities physically received.
- Record damaged or missing quantities with a receipt note where appropriate.
- Select Record receipt and repeat for later partial arrivals as permitted.
What happens next
Only received quantities become available at the destination; the remaining in-transit quantity stays visible.
Troubleshooting
Do not mark an entire transfer received when only part arrived. Review Receipt and return history for previous entries.
