Who can use this: Staff with parent access management permission.
Before you start
Use your own account. Parent access requires a verified guardian relationship, an accepted invitation, the relevant category grants and an eligible child context.
Invite a verified parent or guardian
- Find and select the exact student.
- Choose the permitted scope, enter the parent’s name, email and relationship, and record how authority was verified.
- Select only the information categories the guardian should access.
- Confirm the authority statement and select Send invitation.
What happens next
A guardian invitation is issued within the permitted student scope.
Troubleshooting
A parent link is not created merely by entering an emergency contact. Staff must verify authority. Broad scope and Results access can include published academic report history when the parent role allows it.
